A Big Thank You To Swanage Army Link’s Dawn Patrol

Our friends at Swanage Army Link’s Dawn Patrol have been out again over the last couple of weeks clearing other people’s litter along the A351 between Swanage and Wareham. You’ve probably seen their distinctive yellow bags of litter by the roadside waiting for Dorset Council Waste Services to collect.

Frank Roberts and his team of dedicated volunteers continue to do this year after year to keep the litter down. Without them, this stretch of road could look like the rubbish dump that the A35/A350 from the Baker’s Arms roundabout to Poole has become.

In March, it will be 10 years since Frank started organizing these litter clearance operations which are carried out before dawn so that they can be done safely before the daytime traffic. A BIG THANK YOU TO THEM!
