I thought it would be good to follow up some recent litter picks with a pre-Jubilee litter pick around the village.
I suggest we meet in the Square at 4.30pm on Tuesday 17th May, and I would appreciate it if some of you are able to join me for an hour or so. If anyone knows of an area which is particularly bad for litter, then please do let me know even if you can’t be there.
The village Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Committee has also requested that we help out with a litter pick at two of the events that they are arranging, as follows:
- In the grounds of Corfe Castle after the Beacon Lighting on Thursday 2nd June, late evening
- At the Sports Field after the Big Picnic on Sunday 5th June
I will confirm the exact times for both of these Jubilee picks once the events have been finalised by the Jubilee Committee.
Please could you let me know if you are able to attend any of these events so that I can ensure I have enough litter pickers and vests.
