The Swanage Landers were out again last week and picked up over 8 kg of litter from around the town and the Ulwell laybys. In that lot there were at least 7 dog poo bags, 5 face masks and over 1100 soggy cigarette butts.
Many thanks to Andrew Hill Brown, Joanna Baird, Teresa Scott, and a lady from the Beach Buddies’ team who turned up at Ulwell. Jane & John Kirwin stood in for Frank Roberts who was away at a friend’s wedding in Poland. He was with us in spirit as you can see! Our thanks to him for his work before and after the event.
The Landers will be out again on Saturday 23rd October and would love you to join them. They meet at the Victoria Avenue car park at 09.15 am.
