Clean Up Corfe

Clean Up Corfe is an active group of locals who are keen to improve the environment of Corfe Castle, both by doing regular group litter picks and as individuals who look after specific areas.
Co-Ordinator: Liz Spicer-Short, [email protected], 01929 480447
Mission: We live in a beautiful place and we’d like to keep it that way. With over a quarter of a million visitors to Corfe Castle each year it is inevitable that we won’t be able to rest on our laurels any time soon. We are a fun and friendly group, well supported by the National Trust.
Main Problem Areas (Grot Spots): The layby on the A3351 Church Knowle road at the bottom of Corfe Castle mound, Sandy Hill Lane up to and into Challow Walkers’ Car Park and the village square itself. Cigarette butts, food wrapping and drinks bottles form the bulk of what we collect.
