Harman’s Cross About Litter & Worth Picking Up
Harman’s Cross About Litter was formed shortly after the launch of Litter-Free Purbeck in July 2016 by Jane and John Kirwin, and Helen Gadd to continue and expand their litter clearance in and around Harman’s Cross. In turn, this lead to the formation of Worth Picking Up which now covers the whole of the Worth Matravers parish, but concentrates on keeping Worth Matravers village litter-free.
Co-Ordinator: John Kirwin, litterfreepurbeck@gmail.com, 01929 481000
Mission: Our aim is to tackle the litter problem by engaging the broader community to raise awareness of what can be done, not only by litter-picking activities, but also to deal with the various sources of the problem at corporate and individual levels.
Main Problem Areas (Grot Spots): The Valley Road (A351) through Harman’s Cross and Worth Matravers village car park.
